As we do work with your team, we cannot neatly compartmentalize the mental space of vocation out from what is happening neuro-physiologically. This is what sets Metastory apart from other agencies who may work with your team to create top-down awareness. We can’t merely reprogram and restore healthy functioning through information and data. We need to discover how employees’ nervous systems and literal gut-microbiome realities are affecting their ability to do good work. That is why we use the word “wellness” in our program.
Your partnership with Metastory goes beyond these onsite trainings into annual, monthly, weekly, and daily deliverables to your team. The House of Courage
Companies and their employees need courage; the ability to adapt and succeed in the face of adversity. Adversity in business is inevitable. We can lay a solid foundation for our brand, build infrastructure, and thoughtful systems, but the storms will come. Changing economies, attrition, competition, etc… What do companies and their employees need in order to overcome natural obstacles of success, both within their teams and also in the marketplace? Courage. Courage is the ability to live with conviction even when we are stressed, nervous, or afraid.
The good news is that courage can be learned and developed. We have designed a model we call The House of Courage. Opportunity
Companies exist because someone identifies an opportunity or gap in the market they believe they can fill. This is the first step in laying a foundation for an organization. It begs the questions, ‘Are we aware of the need we are meeting?’ ‘Does anyone actually need our product or service?’ Companies need to do a robust analysis of the market they are entering into. If founding members of an organization haven’t spent enough time answering these questions, their passion, vision, and strategy will be misinformed and without a bedrock when sea-levels rise. We will help you identify gaps you may have in understanding how your product or service can meet a niche need. We will help ensure that each of your team members understands how your product or service meets customer needs and how they play an integral part of meeting that need.
Passion
Passion is where opportunity coincides with desire. Company founders identify not just a need in the market, but a need they can, and want to meet. Executive leaders need to bring high-level passion to their work because they believe in the value of their product or service. Sometimes a lack of passion can help direct leaders and team members to seek new endeavors and meet new needs so that they can regain the vigor they once had. We help validate and name passion gaps and fatigue in team members and help them consider new horizons they might want to pursue. We also press deep into the reason for passion loss. At times, it is not misaligned with product or service offerings, but some other roadblock. We can help identify any passion-theft that has occurred and help recover it.
Purpose
Why does your company exist? What are its core values? The answers to these questions outline the purpose for your brand. It isn’t enough to discover opportunity and passion, you need vision. You need to be able to see what is and what could be. Many business founders jump straight from opportunity and passion into strategy. It is tempting to get to work, to put product to market.
